The Villa Les Cyprès is currently undergoing complete refurbishment
of the garden level or Rez de Jardin. Newly acquired by its owners,
who have already renovated the upper level, the Rez de Jardin will
be completed by end January and available for rental from Easter
2008 throughout all of the season. Furnishings and décor
will be similar to the other two villas that are owned by the same
couple and which can be seen on www.ownersdirect.co.uk as properties
FR2289 and FR231. The success of these two other villas with all
amenities within walking distance prompted the purchase of Les
Cyprès.
The Rez de Jardin tenants will share the facilities of the villa
with the owner/occupiers and any guests they may have, but realistically
they are too busy working most of the time! The apartment can sleep
6 adults easily in three bedrooms with the Master bedroom “Jonquil” having
an en suite shower room with large shower, vanity basin, bidet
and WC. Décor will be as the name suggests, light and pale
cream/lemon. The second bedroom is more regal with mahogany(acajou)
furniture and double aspect windows overlooking both the pool and
games area. The third bedroom is smaller and aptly called ‘Mignonette’ with
also sleeping for two and simple rear window. The second and third
bedrooms share the facilities of a large family bathroom with separate
corner shower cubicle, bath, WC and vanity basin.
The salon and American kitchen have double access to the side
terrace and the covered and balustraded dining terrace immediately
overlooking the pool and gardens which will be floodlit at night
so that people can enjoy the view of the Olive trees that are at
least 900 years old, the illuminated fishpond and surrounding lawned
areas. The pool is in the final stages of completion as this description
is being written and measures 9m X 4.5m in a free-form shape to
partially circle around the magnificent Olive trees where there
is flat crazy paving and stone seating..
Salon has old Pine furniture and blue and cream soft-furnishings
with a superb newly-fitted kitchen in pale oak with central island
and bar, ceramic hob, integral Whirlpool appliances in stainless
steel of oven, micro-wave, fridge and dishwasher. There will be
the use of one of the two washing machines in the external laundry
terrace plus a separate freezer. The kitchen units are also illuminated
on the rear wall with glass-fronted cupboards above the sink and
adjacent work top that is a high-gloss Travertine effect. Flat
screen TV with satellite channels and DVD.
The garden is enclosed with pedestrian access from the small one-way
lane via a flight of about 12 steps. Parking is either on this
quiet lane adjacent or within 50 metres of the villa. Supermarket
locally is within walking distance as well as the Bijou Plage,
Pont DuLys, and the centre of Juan with all of its attractions
of the chic boutiques, lively restaurants and bars and the late-night
discos. Juan les Pins is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and
gives good accessibility to those who also want to be close to
Cannes and Nice. Delegates for conferences in Cannes can access
the Palais de Festival easily by train or bus service direct. There
is also a good Coach service from the airport should people not
wish to hire a car, or it is just 20 minutes by taxi.
Plans, and enhanced photos can be supplied, details of location
and current work-in-progress photos as well as the kitchen that
will be installed immediately after Xmas. Anyone wishing to book

not as described above, they will be given the option to cancel
before the price is increased after Easter.
