A recently-built villa situated on the mimosa-covered
hillside above the superb sandy bay of Miramar. Within walking
distance
of the beach at La Figuerette and approximately 20 kms from Cannes.
The
villa is on two levels with the living area and kitchen on
the upper level and the three bedrooms, bathroom and shower room
on the lower, garden and pool level.
The kitchen is sunny and
modern with pale lemon units and is fully equipped with American
fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher
and microwave. Access from the back of the kitchen onto a small
terrace with table and two small two-seater sofas. The salon
has easy chairs and large wooden dining table to seat up to eight
people.
TV, DVD player and satellite system. Sliding patio doors lead
onto the terrace overlooking the pool where there is another
dining
table with seating for six people and a gas BBQ. There is a guest
toilet on this level.
Downstairs there are three bedrooms, two
doubles and one twin. There is a bathroom with bath and overhead
shower, wash basin and
toilet. In the shower room there is a small hand basin and toilet.
The washing machine/dryer is in the cupboard under the stairs.
All three bedrooms have access onto the lower terrace and the
pool area although the pool area is fenced and has a self-locking
gate
installed for safety. The pool is approximately 7m x 4m and there
are sun loungers around the pool for sunbathing.
Miramar is situated
on the edge of the National Park of the Esterel and offers
excellent opportunities for walking or biking through
the park. For the less energetic, a drive along the coast road
offers superb views of the stunning red rock formations in the
park. There is a local general store at Le Trayas. Also a train
station and the bus for Cannes stops here.
Access to the villa
and to the pool is via steps so it is not ideal for anyone
with mobility difficulties.
