La Maison de Maître, is the original part of the larger
Villa St Charles, a prestigious villa in the heart of Juan les
Pins, and is a completely independent section of the villa benefiting
from all the main facilities of the individual villa but at an
apartment price…….mainly because tenants of the whole
villa share the pool and often end up having barbecues and evenings
together, but there is still the privacy not to do that if you
do not wish to because of the way the grounds and villa are divided.
La
Maison de Maître has its own terrace for dining outside,
private from the next part of the villa. Entrance is from the East
gate and door through a newly-equipped and fitted kitchen to TV
lounge/dining area. Through an archway is the main salon with feature
cheminée and access to the pool terrace. On the upper floor
there are three bedrooms, all with terraces. The main bedroom has
small terrace and overlooks the pool with partial sea view, double
bed and en suite shower room with WC. The other two bedrooms, one
double and one twin both open out onto a large south-facing balcony,
completely private. Both of these bedrooms have the shared facility
of family bathroom and separate WC. The facilities of the pool,
main gardens, table tennis and boules court are shared with the
other occupants in the villa, in the sections of the West wing
in La Chaumière and Les Palmiers. Having two independent
accesses via automatically controlled gateways to the property
means that no-one actually intrudes on another’s privacy.
The furnishings throughout are light, modern and Provençal
colours reflecting the clarity of the Mediterranean palette. Within
walking distance of everything in the heart of one of the most
sought-after places on the Côte d’Azur, there is little
need ever to move or take out the car. If you are travelling without
transport, the local station is 15 minutes’ walk, buses are
less than 300 metres away, the airport only 25 minutes ( via airport
bus if required) and yet you are still in a residential and
peaceful area in the hub of the Riviera.
The villa is ideally situated
for the nightlife of Juan les Pins, the wonderful boutiques,
excellent restaurants and superb beaches
with every kind of watersport within a short walk. Antibes with
its ancient ramparts and interesting old town adjoins Juan les
Pins and provides antique and artisanal markets, quaint alley,
magnificent marina, historical site, and the famous Picasso museum.
A superb and unforgettable venue.
Les Palmiers can be let in conjunction with La Chaumière,
the other part of the West wing of Villa St Charles, (Ref: V128)
for groups of 10. See La Chaumière (Ref: V129, sleeping
4 for full details). Les Palmiers (Ref: V130) can be let with
La Maison de Maître as an alternative to sleep 12 with adjoining
accommodation (See Ref: V131). The whole of Villa St. Charles
can be booked with all three sections of the villa internally linked
and full details are available on Reference V128 sleeping 16. When
the villa is booked in separate sections, the facilities of the
grounds and pool are shared. Garden is illuminated in the evening.
